nues of the said company, for securing to the said state the
payment of the interest 'quarterly on so much of the stock
to be issued by virtue of this act, as shall be equal to the
difference actually existing, at the time bf such quarterly
payments, between the amount of the instalments paia by
the State of Maryland, and the amount of instalments paid
by the individual stockholders, and the said quarterly in-
terest shall be regularly paid by the said company unto
the Treasurer of the Western Shore at least twenty days
before it shall be payable by the state.

CHAP. 106.

CHAPTER 106.

A Supplement to an act, passed December session, eighteen
hundred and thirty-one, chapter sixty-one, entitled an act
to provide for the payment of Jurors, in Baltimore coun-
ty, without the limits of the city, and for payment of the
Judges of the Orphans' Court of Baltimore county.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That on the discharge of any Juror of Balti-
more county, without the limits of the city, attending on
Baltimore county court; the clerk of said court shall im-
mediately make out and give to him on demand a certifi-
cate of the number of days which said Juror served, and

Certificate

the Treasurer of said county upon the presentation of said
certificate by said Juror, or his assigns, shall pay the
amount due to said Juror for his attendance.

Payment

Sec. 2. And beit enacted, That the clerk bf said coun-
ty court, at the close of every session of said court shall
make out a list of Jurors, and therein state the number of
days which each Juror served, and deliver the same to the
said Treasurer.
