SEC. 9. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

 

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 513.

 

AN ACT to extend the corporate limits of Walkersville,

 

Frederick County, Maryland.

 

SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

 

land, That the corporate limits of the village of Walkersville,

Extending

Maryland, be and the same are hereby extended so as to in-

corporate
limits.

clude all the land lying within the following boundaries : Be-

 

ginning at the bridge over the Glade Branch on the road lead-

 

ing from Walkersville to Bigg's ford, on the Monocacy, and

 

following said Glade Branch to a point one hundred feet

 

northeast of the grounds of the canning factory; thence with

 

a line parallel with the northeast line of the canning factory

 

ground to the Northern Central Railroad, following said rail-

 

road to the road leading from Walkersville to the Glade

 

Cemetery; thence with said road to Nettie J. Attee's land,

 

and with the lines on the northeast of the said Nettie J. Attee's

 

land to the public road ; thence with a line through the lands

of the late E. D. Creager, deceased, to a gate on said land, on

the Woodsboro and Frederick turnpike; thence with a line

 

parallel with the northeast line of Samuel Smith's lot, through

 

the lands of Catherine Burner, three hundred and sixty-three

 

feet, more or less; thence to the southeast corner of Samuel

 

Smith's land ; thence with the southwest line of Samuel Smith,

 

Elmer Green and Harry Taylor; thence through the lands of

 

W. C. Heind and Samuel Ramsburg to the road leading from

 

Walkersville to Mount Pleasant; thence with said road to the

 

southeast corner of S. A. Ports' lot ; thence with the line of

 

S. A. Ports and J. D. Nicodemus to the southwest corner of R.

 

A. Trushour's lot; thence in a direct line parallel with the

 

Woodsboro and Frederick turnpike, through the lands of

 

J. D. Nicodemus and J. L. Nicodemus, to a point directly op-

 

posite of the southwest corner of Ellen C. Stimmel's lot ; thence

 

with the line of Ellen C. Stimmel and David Cramer to the

 

dividing line of David Cramer and Johnson & Kemp's ad-

 

dition to Walkersville; thence northwest in a direct line to

 

the southeast boundary line of J. Z. Reddick's lot; thence

 

with said line of J. Z. Reddick direct to a locust tree through

 

the lands of Daniel Cramer, and from said locust tree to the
