CHAPTER 508.
|

AN ACT to repeal Sections 105 to 113, inclusive, of Article
|
 
|
I of the Code of Public Local Laws, title "Allegany County,"
|
 
|
sub-title "Elections — Primary," and to repeal an addition
|
 
|
thereto designated as Section IO5A, as enacted by Act of
|
 
|
1900, Chapter 365, and to re-enact the same with amend-
|
 
|
ments, and to enact additional sections to be designated as
|
 
|
Sections 113A, 113B, 113C, and 113D.
|
 
|
SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
 
|
land, That Sections 105 to 113, inclusive, of the Code of Pub-
|

— Primary," and an additional section thereto, 105A, as
|
 
|
enacted by Act of 1900, Chapter 365, be and the same are
|
 
|
hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments, and four
|
 
|
sections added thereto, designated as Sections 113A, 113B,
|
 
|
113C and 113D, so as to read as follows:

105. All candidates for election to office nominated by the

vote of the members of said party, and not by the convention

or delegate system (except as may be hereinafter designated),

and the place for holding the primary election for the can-

didates of said parties shall be the same as designated by the
|
 
|
Board of Election Supervisors of said county for the regis-
|
 
|
tration of voters in each of the election districts and precincts
|
 
|
in Allegany County, and the party casting the highest number
|
 
|
of votes for the highest State officer at the last general elec-
|
 
|
tion shall hold its primary election on the first Saturday of

of votes shall hold its primary election on the first day of

the voting booths, ballot boxes, stationery and such other

paraphernalia as is used for general elections, and deliver

and set up the same at said places of registration ready for
|
 
|
use.
