CHAPTER 472.

 

AN ACT empowering the School Commissioners of Charles

 

County to establish the County Manual Training School

 

in McDonogh Institute, La Plata, Charles County, Mary-

 

land.

 

WHEREAS, The McDonogh Institute, lately founded at La

SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

in manual training outlined by the Board of Education for

 

the State of Maryland, and that said department of McDon-

 

ogh Institute be open for free instruction in manual training

 

for the children of Charles County.

CHAPTER 473.

 

AN ACT to incorporate the Washington, Legore and Gettys-

 

burg Railroad and Power Company.

 

SECTION i. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

 

land, That Joshua N. Warfield, James W. Legore, Wm. B.

Stambaugh, Frank L. Stoner, Columbus A. Welker, Eugene

Legore and
Gettysburg

Hammond and George F. Smith, and their successors and

Railroad and
Power Com-
pany.

assigns, and all other persons who may hereafter become
stockholders in the company hereby incorporated, be and they

 

are hereby constituted a body corporate by the name and style

 

of the Washington, Legore and Gettysburg Railroad and

 

Power Company, and by that name shall have perpetual suc-

 

cession.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the said corporation, under

 

the above name, shall be capable in law and equity of pur-
