SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

 

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 465.

 

AN ACT to repeal Sections 188 to 217E, inclusive, of Article

 

3 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Bal-

 

timore County," "sub-title "Roads," as amended and re-en-

 

acted by Chapter 685 of the Acts of the General Assembly

 

of Maryland, passed at the January Session of 1900, and as

 

subsequently amended by Chapter 524 of the Acts of the

 

General Assembly of Maryland, passed at the January Ses-

 

sion of 1902, and to enact the following sections in lieu

 

thereof ; the whole to provide for a new road system in Bal-

 

timore County and the placing of the public highways

 

sewers and drains of said county and all matters in connec-

 

tion therewith under the care and control of the County

 

Commissioners of said county sitting as Highways Com-

 

missioners with power and authority to adopt and carry

 

out such rules and regulations in connection therewith as

 

they may consider necessary, and to be known as Sections

 

188, 189, 190, 191, 192, 193, 194, 195, 196, 197, 198, 199,

 

200, 201, 202, 203, 204, 205, 206, 207, 208, 209, 210 and

 

211 of said Article.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

"Roads,"

land, That Sections 188 to 211E. inclusive, of A'rticle 3 of

 

the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland, title "Baltimore

 

County," sub-title "Roads," as amended and enacted by Chap-

 

ter 685 of the Acts of 1900, and Chapter 524 of the Acts of

 

1902, be and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted

 

with amendments, to be known as Sections 118 to 211, inclu-

 

sive, of said Article, and to read as follows:

Highways
Commission

188. The County Commissioners of Baltimore County, in
addition to their other powers and duties under the law, shall,
