LAWS OF MARYLAND.

 

sixty dollars and seventy-four cents, forming part of the

 

purchase price paid by the Fuller Syndicate for the interests

 

of the City of Baltimore in the Western Maryland Rail-

 

road Company, and heretofore passed to the credit of the

 

General Sinking Fund of said city, and the interest ac-

 

cumulated or to accumulate thereon.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

to draw on

land, That the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore be and

four million four hundred and twenty-two thousand four

 

hundred and sixty dollars and seventy-four cents, forming

 

part of the purchase price paid by the Fuller Syndicate for

 

the interests of the City of Baltimore in the Western Maryland

 

Railroad Company, and heretofore passed to the credit of the

 

General Sinking Fund of said city, and the interest accumu-

 

lated or to accumulate thereon, for the purpose of paying

 

off any sum or sums borrowed temporarily by the said cor-

 

poration, pursuant to an Act of the General Assembly of

 

Maryland, passed at its January Session in the year 1904,

 

and entitled "An Act to authorize the Mayor and City Coun-

 

cil of Baltimore to borrow temporarily such sum or sums

 

of money as may be necessary, not exceeding in the aggregate

 

two millions of dollars to meet the emergency created by

meet the amounts provided for in the Ordinance of Estimates

 

for the year 1904, or for the purpose of defraying the expenses

 

of any special election or elections that may be held in Balti-

 

more City in the year 1904 pursuant to the provisions of
