SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That Article 22 of the Code of Public Local Laws, title
|
Keedysville,
|
"Washington County," sub-title "Keedysville," be amended by
|
Washington
County, Md.

the addition of a new section, to be known as Section 295A,
|
 
|
and to read as follows :
|
 
|
295A. The Burgess and Commissioners shall have power to
|
 
|
regulate license and tax all hackney carriages, omnibusses or
|

other vehicles used in said town for the carriage of passengers
|
censes of ve-
hicles.
|
for hire, and also all vehicles used for the carriage or trans-
|
 
|
portation of freight or merchandise for hire and all carts or
|
 
|
other vehicles which ply for hire.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
|
 
|
from the date of its passage.
|
 
|

CHAPTER 457.
|

AN ACT to repeal Sections 2 and 3 of Chapter 569 of the
|
 
|
General Assembly of Man-land, passed at its January Ses-
|
 
|
sion, 1902, and to re-enact the same with amendments and
|
 
|
to make valid official acts of the Mayor and City Council
|
 
|
of Ocean City, and of cither of them, since the passage of
|
 
|
the said Chapter 569 of the Acts of 1902.
|
 
|
SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
 
|
land, That Sections 2 and 3 of Chapter 569 of the Acts of
|
 
|
the General Assembly of Maryland, passed at its January
|
Re-enactment
|
Session, 1902, be and they are hereby repealed and re-enacted
|
of certain
|
so as to read as follows :
|
sections.
|
2. The inhabitants of Ocean City, in Worcester County,
|
 
|
Maryland, are constituted a body corporate by the name of
|
 
|
Mayor and City Council of Ocean City, and by that name
|

may sue and be sued, have and use a common seal, and.

have perpetual succession ; that the bounds and limits of said

city shall be as follows: Beginning at mean low water mark

in the Atlantic Ocean, where the north line of South Seventh

such line extended, and the north line of South Seventh

street, in a westerly direction to Synepuxent Bay, at mean
|

at mean low water mark, to the south line of North Fifteenth

street; thence by and with said south line of North Fif-

teenth street, ami said line extended to a point in said ocean,

at mean low water mark; thence by and with said ocean, at
|

mean low water mark, to the beginning.
