CHAPTER 426.

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Board of Public

Works of Maryland to collect the insurance upon State To-

bacco Warehouses Nos. 1 and 2, and place the same to the

credit of the Tobacco Warehouse Fund, and to either re-

build a modern warehouse on the present site of Tobacco

Warehouses Nos. I and 2, and the property owned by the

State adjacent thereto, or to sell said property or lease the

same for such sum as they may think right and build a

tobacco warehouse in some other locality of Baltimore City

selected by said Board of Public Works.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

land, That the Board of Public Works of the State of Mary-

SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That all moneys received by the

said Board of Public Works for insurance, and all money

received for the sale or lease of the property above mentioned

for the same so to be sold or leased shall be placed by the

State Tobacco

SEC. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

from the date of its passage.
