113. Fishing in the waters of Romney Creek in Harford

and it shall not be lawful for any person at any time between

said dates in each and every year to erect any fish pot, or to
|
 
|
fish with any drag net, fish basket, or with hook and line, or
|
 
|
with any other snare or device whatsoever, in the waters of
|
 
|
the said creek ; provided, however, that nothing herein con-
|
 
|
tained shall prevent owners or renters of farms and lands bor-
|
 
|
dering upon the waters of said creek and the owners and rent-
|
 
|
ers of farms adjoining said lands, which formerly bordered on
|
 
|
said creek, but from which the shore rights thereof have here-
|
 
|
tofore been sold, from catching fish in the waters opposite their
|
 
|
said lands for the use of their own families and employees, but
|
 
|
they shall not make any unnecessary noise that will interfere
|
 
|
with any person or persons having the right to shoot ducks or
|
 
|
other wild fowl from the shores of said creek.
|
 
|
114. Each and every person violating any of the provisions
|

ized by law to make the same, or upon a warrant issued by any
|
 
|
justice of the peace of said county, and, upon conviction, shall
|
 
|
be fined not less than twenty dollars nor more than one hun-
|
 
|
dred dollars for each and every violation of the provisions of
|
 
|
said Section 113, or for each and every day upon or during
|
 
|
which said person shall or may repeat or continue such vio-
|
 
|
lation of the said provisions of said Section 113; one-half of
|
 
|
said fine or fines to be paid, as and when collected, to the per-
|
 
|
son making the original arrest or procuring the issue of said
|
 
|
warrant, as the case may be.
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That this Act shall take effect from
|
 
|
the date of its passage.
|
 
|

AN ACT to amend the charter of the Hagerstown and West

End Railway Company, a corporation duly incorporated un-

|
der the provisions of Article 23 of the Code of Public General

Laws of Maryland, and to grant certain additional powers to
|

said railway company.
