SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the School Commissioners

levy is made.

AN ACT to add a new section to Article 23, of the Code of Pub-

lic General Laws, title "Corporations," sub-title "Insurance

Department," to be known as Section 123A, and to follow

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
|
|
land, That a new section be added to Article 23 of the Code of
|
|
|
Public General Laws, title "Corporations," sub-title ''Insurance
|
|
|
Department," to be known as Section 135A, to follow Section
|
|
|
135, and to read as follows :
|
|

AN ACT to prohibit the sale of spirituous or fermented liquors

of liquors.

trict No. 23, in Frederick County, Maryland.

|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
|
|
land, That it shall not be lawful for the Clerk of the Circuit
|
|
|
Court for Frederick County to issue a license to any person, per-
|
|
|
sons, partnership or corporation to sell or barter spirituous or
|
|
|
fermented liquors or lager beer at any place within the limits of
|
|
|
Ballenger District or Election District No. 23, in Frederick
|
|
|
County, Maryland.
|
|
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from
|
|
|
the date of its passage.
