AX ACT to authorize the County Commissioners of Queen

 

Anne's County to grant a pension to Abraham Smith of

 

said county.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That the County Commissioners of Queen Anne's County

be and the same are hereby authorized and empowered to grant

 

and pay to Abraham Smith of said county an annual pension

 

of fifty dollars for and during the natural life of the said

 

Abraham Smith, and to provide for and levy the said sum on

 

the assessable property of said county.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

 

from the date of its passage.
