employees beyond said times, shall be deemed guilty of a

misdemeanor, and upon indictment and conviction thereof,

shall be fined not less than fifty dollars nor more than three

hundred dollars, in the discretion of the court.

CHAPTER 38.
|

AN ACT to prohibit the County Commissioners of Queen
|
|
 
|
Anne's County from hereafter paying any pension and from
|
|
 
|
hereafter levying any sum of money upon the taxable
|
|
 
|
property of Queen Anne's County for the purpose of paying
|
|
 
|
any pension to any person who is now, or who shall here-
|
|
 
|
after become a non-resident of Queen Anne's County afore-
|
|
 
|
said and to repeal all Acts inconsistent with this Act.
|
|
Prohibiting
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
|
paying of
|
land, That the County Commissioners of Queen Anne's County
|
|
pensions to
non-residents.
|
shall not hereafter pay any pension, or levy any sum of money
|
|
 
|
upon the taxable property of said county for the purpose of
|
|
 
|
paying any pension, to any person who is now or who shall
|
|
 
|
hereafter become a non-resident of said county.
|
|
 
|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all Acts inconsistent with
|
|
 
|
this Act, be and the same are hereby repealed.
|
|
 
|
SEC. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect
|
|
 
|
from the date of its passage.
