levy taxes on the taxable property of Frederick County to

the same when they shall fall due; and the said bridge, from
|

and after the purchase of said stock by Frederick and Loudon

Counties, shall thenceforth be opened and maintained by the

two counties aforesaid as a free bridge open to the traveling

public as other public bridges in Frederick County are used
