CHAPTER 4.

AN ACT to provide for building an addition to the Court
|
 
|
House at Belair, Harford County.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
 
|
land, That George L. VanBibber, A. Henry Strasbaugh, Stev-
|
 
|
enson A. Williams, Hugh A. Jones and William S. Forwood,
|
 
|
Jr., be and they are hereby appointed Commissioners, and
|
 
|
they or a majority of them are authorized and empowered by
|
 
|
virtue of this Act to contract for and superintend the building
of an addition to the Court House in Belair sufficiently large
|

to accommodate with offices all the public offices of Harford
County and the furnishing said Court House and offices when

so constructed with necessary and proper cases for the reception

and preservation of the public records and with all the neces-

may require at a total cost not to exceed the sum of twenty-

SEC. 2. And be it enacted. That the Board of Commissioners

|
named in the preceding section or a majority of them are
|
 
|
hereby authorized and required to borrow, from time to time
|
 
|
and upon such terms as they may deem proper at a rate of
interest not exceeding 6 per cent, per annum, any sum or sums
|
