CHAPTER 279.

 

AN ACT to authorize and empower the Board of County Com-

 

missioners of Frederick County to enter into an agree-

 

ment with the proper authorities of Loudon County in the

 

State of Virginia, in the purchase of the Berlin and Lovetts-

 

ville Bridge over the Potomac river, and to provide a fund

 

for the payment thereof as a free bridge for the use and

 

benefit of the people of the States of Maryland and Virginia.

 

WHEREAS, In pursuance of an Act of the General Assembly

 

of Maryland, passed at the January Session in the year of

has, in pursuance of the powers and authority given and
