in said precinct it shall be the duty of said School Commis-

 

sioners to so apportion said sum so as to clearly designate how

 

much of said sum shall be expended for the purpose of pur-

 

chasing a lot of land (if a lot is not already owned) or addi-

 

tional land, if necessary ; how much shall be expended for the

 

erection of a school house, and how much shall be expended

 

in furnishing and equipping the same ; and said School Com-

 

missioners are hereby authorized and directed to acquire by

 

purchase or condemnation the necessary lot or addition thereto

 

for the erection of said school building.

 

SEC. 3. And be it enacted. That immediately upon notifica-

as speedily as possible, procure and adopt plans and specifica-

 

tions for the erection of said public school building, and as soon

 

as said plans and specifications are determined upon by said

 

building committee they shall invite sealed proposals by ad-

 

vertisement, for a reasonable time, for the construction and

 

completion of said building, which proposals shall be sent in

 

sealed envelopes in care of the School Examiner of Anne

 

Arundel County, addressed to said committee, and shall be

 

publicly opened on the day and hour named in said advertise-

 

ment ; said proposals shall set forth the amount of money for

 

which the parties proposing will complete the building ac-

 

cording to the specifications, and the time or times at which

 

payment therefor shall be made, and the time when said build-

 

ing will be completed ; and the said building committee shall
