ited by him to the account of the Road Directors ; all such fines

 

to be collectible as other fines imposed by justices of the peace.

 

216B. The Road Directors aforesaid shall, within thirty days

 

after their qualification, appoint as Allegany County Roads

Roads Engi-
neer.

Engineer a skillful and experienced man over twenty-five years

 

of age, having the degree of civil engineer, who shall give

 

his entire time to his office for two years next succeeding

 

the date of his appointment, or until his successor is appointed

 

and qualified, unless sooner removed from such office by the

 

Road Directors upon the recommendation of the Grand Jury for

 

Allegany County or for cause by said Road Directors deemed

 

sufficient, and in such case said Road Directors shall immedi-

 

ately select his successor for the unexpired term. The term of

 

the Road Engineer first appointed under the provisions of this

 

Act shall expire upon the tenth day of February, 1906. Before

 

entering upon his duties, the Roads Engineer shall qualify

 

by taking oath before one of the judges of the Circuit Court

 

for Allegany County to faithfully perform the duties of his

 

office and by giving bond to the said Board of Road Directors

on said roads shall be one dollar and seventy-five cents per day

 

for adult workmen, and all wages shall be determined by the
