CHAPTER 21.

 

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Chapter

 

186 of the Acts of 1000, entitled "An Act to fix limit and

 

determine the term of office of the County Commissioners

 

of Queen Anne's County that shall hereafter be elected or

 

appointed, perpetuating succession to same, and repealing

 

all laws so far as they are inconsistent with the provisions

 

of this Act. "

that shall hereafter be elected or appointed, perpetuating suc-

 

cession to same and repealing all laws so far as they are in-

 

consistent with the provisions of this Act, " be and the same

 

is hereby repealed and re-enacted with amendments so as to

 

read as follows:

two years so that his term shall expire in 1907 instead of

 

1905. The selection of the Commissioner whose term is hereby

 

extended shall be made by the Board of County Commissioners

 

for said county and by them certified to the Governor. At the

 

general election to be held in 1905 there shall be elected two

 

County Commissioners in said county, one for the term of two

 

years and one for the term of four years, and biennially

 

thereafter there shall be elected in said county two County

 

Commissioners, one for the term of two years and one for

 

the term of four years.

 

2. In case any vacancy shall occur in said Board by death,

fied voters of said county to fill the unexpired term of the

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That all laws or parts of laws in-

hereby repealed, and that this Act shall take effect from the

 

date of its passage.
