CHAPTER 243.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Sections
|
 
|
209P of Article I and Section 1640 of Article 12 of the
|
 
|
Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany County and Garrett
|
 
|
County respectively, entitled "Mining and Mine Inspector,"
|
 
|
and "Manufacturers and Mines," respectively, sub-title
|
 
|
"Penalties," as the said section was enacted by Chapter 124
|
 
|
of the Acts of 1902, providing for the punishment of viola-
|
 
|
tions of said Acts, and for the jurisdiction of courts and
|
 
|
magistrates in relation to the same.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Alary-
|
 
|
land, That Section 209P of Article I, and Section 164O of
|
 
|
Article 12, as enacted by Chapter 124 of the Acts of 1902, be
|
 
|
and the same are hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read
|
 
|
as follows :
|

dollars or imprisonment in the county jail for a period not

exceeding six months, or both, in the discretion of the justice

of the peace or of the court.
