said courts, and is now no longer in office and has attained the

 

age of seventy years, or if not now seventy years of age, when

 

he shall attain said age, shall be entitled to a salary of twenty-

 

four hundred dollars per annum, payable in quarterly instal-

 

ments, as other Judges' salaries are now paid.

 

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect

 

from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 238.

 

AN ACT to prohibit the playing of cards upon any road or

 

public highway in Deal's Island Election District No. 14, of

 

Somerset County.

 

SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

 

land, That it shall be unlawful for any one to play cards upon

AN ACT to repeal Section 103 of Article 23 of the Code of

 

Public General Laws, entitled "Corporations," sub-title

 

"Building or Homestead Associations," and to re-enact the

 

same with amendments.

 

SECTION I. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-

 

land, That Section 103 of Article 23 of the Code of Public

 

General Laws be and the same is hereby repealed and re-en-

 

acted, so as to read as follows:

 

103. The provisions of the eight foregoing sections shall

 

be taken and held to apply to corporations which have been
