November following, both days inclusive, in each and every

 

year, or any woodcock between the sixteenth clay of August

 

and the thirtieth clay of June following, both days inclusive,

 

in each and every year, or any squirrel between the twenty-

 

fourth day of December and the thirty-first day of August

 

following, both days inclusive, in each and every year; or

 

any plover or snipe between the sixteenth day of August and

 

the first day of March following, both days inclusive, in

 

each and every year; or any robin, thrush or oriole at any

 

time ; and it shall not be lawful for any person to sell, ex-

 

pose or offer for sale any of the above-mentioned birds at any

 

time, or any rabbit or squirrel except during the open season

 

for the same, or to carry out or cause to be carried out of the

 

limits of the aforesaid county any bird or animal mentioned in

 

this section, either dead or alive; nor shall it be lawful for

 

any agent for any express company, railway or steamboat

 

line to receive the same for shipment.
