CHAPTER 76.

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with an amendment Section
|
 
|
16 of Article 27 of the Code of Public General Laws, entitled
|
 
|
"Crimes and Punishments," sub-title "Assault with Intent
|
 
|
to Murder, Ravish or Rob."
|
 
|
SECTION r. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
|
 
|
land, That Section 16 of Article 27 of the Code of Public Gen-
|
 
|
eral Laws, title "Crimes and Punishments," sub-title "Assault
|
 
|
with Intent to Murder, Ravish or Rob," be and the same is
|
 
|
hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read :
|
 
|
16. Every person convicted of the crime of an assault with
|
 
|
intent to rob, murder, commit a rape or have carnal knowledge
of female child under the age of fourteen years, shall be sen-
|

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That nothing herein contained
