of any other party, the ballots of said party shall be printed

upon paper of different colors, and until after the next general

registration every person offering to vote shall be required

to state to which party he belongs and the candidates of which
|

party he intends to vote for at the State or county election,
|

and he shall be supplied only with the official ballot prepared
|
 
|
|
for the candidates of such party.

|
SEC 7. And be it enacted, That the polls shall be opened
|
 
|
|
at nine o'clock A.M. and closed at six o'clock P.M. on the
|

furnished the return judge of each polling place, for the
|

purpose of determining the right of the party to vote, and

no one shall be entitled to vote at said primary election who

to vote; provided, however, that any person who may since
|

the last preceding registration come of age or otherwise ac-

quire the right to vote at the election next succeeding said

primary election may vote upon satisfying the judges by

proper evidence that he will be entitled to register under the
|
 
|
|
laws of this State at the next succeeding registration, and for
|
 
|
|
the purposes of this section the said judges of election may ex-
|
 
|
|
amine upon oath or affirmation such witnesses as may be ad-
|
 
|
|
duced before them, including the applicant himself ; the persons
|
 
|
|
making said oaths and affirmations shall be subject to the same
|
 
|
|
penalties as if the same were made in judicial proceedings.

But the said judges of election are not to make any marks

SEC. 8. And be it enacted, That the clerks in each precinct
