will well and faithfully perform the duties of his office as pre-

scribed by this Act, or which may be prescribed by any by-law

or ordinance of said Commissioners, to the best of his skill and

judgment; he shall sign all drafts or orders for money appropri-
|

|
ated or ordered by the Commissioners to be paid by the treas-
|
|
 
|
urer, and keep a record of the proceedings of said Commission-
|
|
 
|
ers in a book to be provided by them for that purpose, which
|
|
 
|
shall at all times be open to the inspection of any person in-
|
|

terested.

SEC. 15. And be it enacted, That the bailiff shall be ap-
|

pointed from among the inhabitants of said town qualified to

with two good and sufficient securities to be approved by said

said office in all things appertaining thereto according to law

SEC. 16. And be it enacted, That the treasurer shall be ap-
