    List of the Person voted for as Vice President of the United States
of America by the Electors of President and Vice President of the
United States, in and for the State of Maryland.
                                                John Tyler, of the State of Virginia,
            We, do, hereby certify that the above is a true List of the Person
put in nomination and voted for by the Electors of President and
Vice President of the United States, in and for the State of Maryland,
and the number of votes by him received.
            Witness our Hands and Seals this Seventh Day of December
in the year one Thousand Eight Hundred and Thirty six.






            Three certificates were then prepared according to the aforegoing
Form, signed, sealed and endorsed by the Electors, and addressed
to the President of the Senate of the United States of America, Washington;
one of which was delivered by the President to Mr. Pratt, to be
by him deposited in the Post Office, at this City, and one to Mr. Hoffman,
