366 State of Maryland Minutes of 1972 Proceedings of Electors of President and Vice President of the United States of America, in and for the State of Maryland. At 11 A. M., on Monday, December 18, 1972, the Electors of President and Vice President of the United States of America, in and for the State of Maryland, assembled in the State House in Annapolis. There were present W. Blan Harcum, James P. S. Devereaux, A. Wade Kach, John A. Cade, Robert Beall, James C. Baumgardner, Samuel Barber, Jane B. Lockwood, William W. Gullett and Carole Plante. William W. Gullett was elected President and Jane B. Lockwood, Secretary. The following Proclamation, in sextuplicate, was received from Governor Marvin Mandel of Maryland. Governor's Proclamation Declaring the Election of Electors of President and Vice President of the United States 1972 Whereas, from a certified copy of the Declaration of the Result of an Election held in the State of Maryland on Tuesday, November 7, 1972, for ten Electors of President and Vice president of the United States, made and treansmitted to me by the Board of State Canvassers, in accordance with law and filed in my office, it appears that: Republican Party
