        And Further, That the Board of State Canvassers
of Maryland, pursuant to the authority and direction vested
in it by law, has determined and declared that William
S. Townsend, At Large, Victor Cushwa, Jr., At Large,
Francis H. Morris, First Congressional District, Frederick
W. De Jong, Second Congressional District, Louis Gaertner,
Third Congressional District, Richard K. Coggins, Fourth
Congressional District, C. Philip Nichols, Fifth Congressional
District, Samuel Dillon, Jr., Sixth Congressional District,
George L. Radcliffe, Seventh Congressional District and
Mrs. Marguerite Gulli, At Large Congressional District,
having received the greatest number of votes cast at
said election for ten electors of President and Vice
President of the United States, the same have been,
and are, duly elected such officers.
        Now, Therefore, I. J. Millard Tawes, Governor
of Maryland, in compliance with the authority and
direction contained in Section 57 of Article 41 of the
Annotated Code of Maryland, (1957 Edition), Do By This
My Proclamation Hereby Declare and Proclaim, that the
above named William S. Townsend, At Large, Victor
Cushwa, Jr., At Large, Francis H. Morris, First Congressional
District, Frederick W. De Jong, Second Congressional
District, Louis Gaertner, Third Congressional District,
Richard K. Coggins, Fourth Congressional District, C. Philip
Nichols, Fifth Congressional District, Samuel Dillon, Jr., Sixth
Congressional District, George L. Radcliffe, Seventh Congressional
District and Mrs. Marguerite Gulli, At Large Congressional
District, are the duly elected Electors of President and
Vice President of the United States for the State of
Maryland.
