358 State of Maryland Minutes of 1964 Proceedings of Electors of President and Vice President of the United States of America in and for the State of Maryland. At noon on Monday, December 14, 1964, the Electors of the State of Maryland for President and Vice President of the United States, assembled in the State House, at Annapolis. There were present William S. Townsend, Victor Cushwa, Jr., George L. Radcliffe, Frederick W. De Jong, Samuel Dillon, Jr., Louis Gaertner, Richard K. Coggins, C. Philip Nichols, Mrs. Marguerite Gulli and Francis H. Norris, George L. Radcliffe was elected Chairman and William S. Townsend was elected Secretary. The following proclamation in sextriplicate was received from Governor J. Millard Taws of Maryland: Executive Department Annapolis Maryland Governor's Proclamation Declaring the Election of Electors of President and Vice President of the United States 1964 Whereas, from a certified copy of the Declaration of the Result of an Election held in the State of Maryland on Tuesday, November 3, 1964, for ten electors of President and Vice President of the United States, made and transmitted to me by the Board of State Canvassers, in accordance with law and filed in my office, it appears that Democratic Party
