326 David C. Winebrenner 3d Secretary of State. Thereupon each of the Electors present voted for Franklin D. Roosevelt for President of the United States of America, and each of said Electors voted for John N. Garner for Vice President of the United States of America. Each of said eight Electors signed the six separate certificates showing the results of the votes for President and Vice President of the United States of America, and each of said Electors also signed the containing envelopes in which said certificates were placed, as required by the Act of Congress approved on May 29th 1928. Two of the above certificates were immediately delivered to the Secretary of State of Maryland, and the Secretary of the College was directed to dispose of the remaining four certificates as required by law. Upon motion duly made and carried the Secretary of the College was authorized to request the Comptroller of the State to draw his warrant upon the Treasurer of the State for the payment of the expenses of the Presidential Electors, in attending this meeting, and all other expenses incurred in connection with said meeting. All of said expenses not to exceed the amount appropriated therefor. The Secretary was directed to record the minutes of this meeting in the Record Book in the office of the Secretary of State, which is provided for the purpose.
