to the act,
entitled, An act empowering the commissioners of the
county courts, to levy
and raise tobacco, to defray the necessary charges of

The act of 1748, ch. 20, is continued
for seven years, &c. It was afterwards continued for seven
years, &c. by the act of June, 1773, ch. 2, and expired at the end
