92 PRINCE GEORGES COUNTY

Saith that he is not Informed by the Said Robert Biggs his Clyant of any Answer
for the Said Robert Biggs in the plea aforesaid to be given and nothing more
thereof Saith by which the Said Matthew Lewis Remaineth against the Said
Robert Biggs thereof undefended etc.

Therefore it is Considered that the Said Matthew Lewis Recover against the
Said Robert Biggs as well the Said Sume of three thowsand pounds of tobaccoe
his Debt aforesaid as Alsoe the Sume of four hundred fifty Eight pounds of
tobaccoe his Damages by occation of Deteyning the Said Debt to the Said
Matthew Lewis of his Assent by the Court here Adjudged etc. And the Said
Robert Biggs in mercy etc.

Jacob Bourneveeth and Sarah his wife Came into Court in their propper
persons and Acknowledged themselves bound unto Ignatias Creycroft to Serve
him the Said Ignatias Creycroft the full terme of three years Each in all manner
of Lawful Servis that he the Said Ignatias his heires Executors Administrators
Shall Employ them in dureing the terme aforesaid In consideration that he Said
Ignatias Creycroft pay the Debt that is now Due from the Said Jacob Bourne-
veetch to Mr. Robert Bradley the Attorney of Edward and Dudley Carleton and
alsoe for being his Spetiall baile to the Debt and Cost that Col. Henry Jowles now
Sues the Said Bournevetch for.

Ordered that the Clerke of this Court Reads the minitts of the Court that he
makes to the Court as they are Entred.

Ordered that the Sheriffe Imediately Sumonds Docter Mordycay Moore to
Appeare here the next Court to testifie the truth of his knowledge in a Certaine
matter of Controversie depending in this Court btween Hugh Furguson and
Thomas Teague plantiffe and Christopher Thompson Defendant on part [of] the
Defendant.

[85] William Prather Came into Court and made oath that he had Attended
this Court Six dayes Henry Boteler Likewise made oath that he had Attended
Six dayes and Thomas Prater made oath that he had Attended Seven dayes
Thomas Davis made oath that he had Attended four dayes and Matthew Mocke-
boy made oath that he had Attended Six dayes being all Sumoned for Anthony
Smart against William Powell on the behalfe of the Said Anthony Smart Where-
upon it is ordered by the Court here that the Said Anthony Smart pay to Each of
the aforesaid Evidences thirty pounds of tobaccoe apeice for Each dayes Attend-
ance.

Ordered by the Court that the Sheriffe take George Burgis into his Custody
and putt him in the Stocks for one hower for being drunk and for Swaring and
abuseing the Justices of the Court.

Josias Twogood Sworne in open Court as an Evidence for William Parker
against Crotney Crotoffe.

Thomas Bridges Came into Court and made oath that his Servant John Payne
had Run away and Absented himselfe from his Said masters Servis Seaven dayes
Ordered by the Court that the Said John Paine Serve the Said Thomas Bridges
