Prince Georges County.

Whereas Benjamin Berry and Robert Gordian were found by us drunk att an
ordinary and profanely Cursing and Swareing These are therefore in his
Majestys name to Requier and Strickly Charge you upon Sight here of to take
the Said Benjamin Berry and Robert Gorden into your Costody and putt them
in the Stocks till you Shall be ordered to Release them Given under our hands
October the 21th 1696.

To the Sheriffe of Prince Georges County or his Deputy:

Thomas Hollyday, William Hutchinson, Robert Bradley.

And the Said Benjamin Berry and Robert Gorden this 24th day of November
Annoque Domini 1696 Came in the Costody of the Sheriffe and was putt in the
Stocks According to the above order and after Some time was by the Sheri[ffe]
brought into Court and upon their Submision to the Court was discharged pay-
ing their Fees.

William Bayley Desiers his marke may be Recorded (viz.) an over halve and
an under bitt on the Right Eare and a Swallow forke on the Left Eare.

Phillip Tattershell Desiers his marke may be Recorded (viz.) An over halve
on the Right Eare and a Cropp and three Slitts on the Left Eare.

Charles Williams Desiers his marke may be Recorded (viz.) an over halve and
a hole on the Right Eare and a Swallow forke and over bitt and under bitt on
the Left Eare.

[58] Allexander Magruder desiers his marke may be Recorded (viz.) a Swallow
Forke on the Right Eare and a Cropp and an under bitt on the Left Eare.

Nathaniell Magruder desiers his marke may be Recorded (viz.) a Swallow
forke and an under bitt on the Right Eare and an over keele and an under bitt
on the Left Eare.

William Mills desiers his marke may be Recorded (viz.) two under bitts on
the Right Eare and a Cropp on the Left Eare.

William Mills desiers his brother John Mills marke may be Recorded (viz.)
two under bitts on the Right Eare and a Cropp and Slitt on the Left Eare.

John Chapman desies he may have a Subpoena for John Paine to testifie for
him against Thomas Bridges which was granted him and Accordingly Issued out.

John Browne and Nicholas Baker made oath before Mr. Robert Bradley and
Mr. David Small that the Said John Browne had Attended Six dayes and
Nicholas Baker four dayes being Sumoned for William Powell and Anthony
Smart for and on the behalfe of the Said William Powell Ordered thirty pounds
of tobaccoe to Each person for Each day Attendance.

To the Worshipfull the Justices of Prince Georges County in Court Sitting.

Gentellmen: I am att present verry Lame and uncapable to give my At-
tendance as by his Majestys writt of Subpoena I am Commanded therefore I
thought it my duty to Signifie this to your Worshipps that it may not be thought
Contept in your most humble Servant Ninian Beall.

The above petition is by the Court Accepted off as a good and reall Excuse.

To the Worshipffull the Justices of Prince Georges County the Petition of
George Hutcheson of the aforesaid County Humbly Sheweth.

That your poore petitioner haveing by Gods providence been Grievously
