Should not be Condemned and Execution thereof had and made etc. and that he
had then and there the Said writt etc.

Att which Said 22d Day of September Annoque Domini 1696 Came the Said
Edward and Dudley Carleton by Joshua Cecell their Attorney And the Said
Thomas Banks though Sollemly Called Came not etc. And the Sheriffe now
Returneth that by vertue of the writt aforesaid he Atteched in the hands of Mr.
Robert Bradley the debt and Cost aforesaid who is Summoned to Appeare and
Shew Cause etc. And the Said Robert Bradley being Called Came not etc.

Therefore it is Considered that the Said Six Shillings four pence Sterling and
Eleven hundred and Eighty pounds of tobaccoe be Condemned in the hands of
the Said Robert Bradley and that the Said Edward and Dudley Carleton have
Execution against the Said Robert Bradley for the Said Six Shillings and four
pence Sterling and 1180 lbs. of tobaccoe Soe as aforesaid in his hands Atteched
etc.

William Young plantiffe: Charles Hay Defendant: Debt 4720 lbs. tobacco.

The plantiffe by Joshua Cecell his Attorney prayeth that he may have Spetiall
[Bail] to this Action and by the Court here it is granted unto him etc. And
Whereupon the Said Charles Hay in Costody of the Sheriffe and present here
in Court is Committed to the Costody of the Sheriffe for default of Manucaptors
there to Remaine untill etc.

And hereupon Came into Court John Short in his proper person and under-
tooke for the Said Charles Hay that if it Should happen the Said Charles Haye
in the plea aforesaid to be in any manner Lawfully Convicted that then the Said
John Short doe grant for himselfe the Debt: aforesaid and allsoe all Costs and
Damages to the Said William Young in any manner by the Court here to be
Adjudged to be made and Leavied of his goods and Chatties Lands and tene-
ments to the use of the Said plantiffe if itt Should happen the Said Charles Hay
pay not the Said Debt and Costs and Damages aforesaid nor Render his body
to the Costody of the Sheriffe for the Same there to Remaine untill etc.

Willesey Administrator Joseph Fry- Debt 2000; Francis Billinger against Thomas
Tracy - trepass on the Case; Robert Synock against Robert Bigges - trespass on
the Case; Jonathan Willson against Henry Dreyden-Debt 270; Joshua Hall
against Robert Gorden — trespass on the Case.

Thomas Taney Executor Michael Taney against Joseph Williams - trespass
on the Case: This Action is discontinued.

James Bray against William Offord Alus Wayford - trespass on the Case:
Countermanded by the plantiffes order.
