Creditts of the Defendant and by the Court it was Granted unto him, upon a
Further Survey of the Matter the Plantiff could finde noe Effects he therefore
omitted Fileing his Declaration and account against the Defendant, that hindred
this record to be made up.
[382J These nine actions are Continued till January Court: Trumans Ad-
ministrator against Ninian Beall - trespass on the Case; James Moor against
Thomas Taney - trespass on the Case; Roger Brooke against Willsons Executors
-Debt 22729; Thomas Colliar against Hugh Reyley-Debt; Hides Executor
against Nicholas Baker-Debt 1198; Carleton Merchants against Matthew Macke-
boy - trespass on the Case; Edward Buttler against Willsons Executors - trespass
on the Case; Simon Nicholls against Willsons Executors — trespass on the Case;
William Round and Company against Willsons Executors - trespass on the Case.
These four actions are agreed: The Carleton Merchants against Robert
Johnson — trespass on the Case; The Carleton Merchants against Guy White -
trespass on the Case; The Carleton Merchants against John Evans - trespass on
the Case; Jonathan Hills against Hugh Reyley - trespass on the Case.
Then did the Court adjourne till the Second Tuesday in December 1698.
Att a Speasiall Court Called and held att Charles Towne the thirteenth day
of December in the Tenth year of Our Sovereigne Lord William the third by
the Grace of God of England Scottland France and Ireland Defender of the
Faith Annoque Domini 1698 by his Majestyes Justices thereunto appoynted and
authorized (viz.)
Present. Mr. Thomas Hollyday, Mr. Robert Bradley, Mr. Robert Tyler, Mr.
Samuell Magruder, Comissioners.
Ordered that the Demands for Wolves Heads and other Incident Charges due
from the County be Safely Kept by the Clerk of the Said County till a Further
occation bee for them to be produced when the Court Shall be Impowered to
Lay a Leavie.
By his Excellency the Governour and Councill Nov. the 22 1698.
Ordered that the Severall Sheriffs doe give publiqe Notice within their re-
spective Countyes that the Court of his Excelency the Governour and Councill
for heareing appeales and writts of Errors his Majestys High Court of Chancery
the Court of Admirallty and the Comisaryes Court will Sitt the 23d day of
February Ensueing att the Poart of Annopolis God Willing when and where all
Persons Suiters and Practitioners in the Said Courts are to give their Attendance
for that their Causes will not be Further Continued but att that time Ended
unless it Shall please God Such Violent weather Should happen by Frost or Snow
in which Case they are to Come if possible in two or three dayes affter.
