Smith recover against the Said Thomas Vaughun as well the Sume of two
Hundred ninety three pounds of Tobacco his Debt aforesaid as allso the Sume of
two Hundred and Sixteen pounds of Tobacco to the Said John Smith of his
assent by the Court here adjudged and the Said Thomas Vaughun in Mercy.
[367] William Round Plantiff: Jonathan Willsons Executors Deffendants
William Round who brought the writt of our Sovereigne Lord the King
against Jonathan Willsons Executors of a Plea of Debt etc. and have not
Prosecuted his Said writt etc. therefore he and his Pledges of Prosecuteing be
in mercy etc. Lett the name of the Pledges be Sought etc. and the Said Jonathan
Willsons Executors goe thereof without day etc. it is Likewise Considered that
the Said Jonathan Willson recover against the Said William Round his Damages
by occation of the Premises to four hundred pounds of Tobacco to the Said
Jonathan Willson by the Discression of the Justices here at their request for his
Cost and Charges in this behalfe Susteined according to the Forme of the Statute
etc. by the Court here adjudged.

Col. Hollyday came upon the Bench about noon and Satt some Small time and
went off the Bench and Satt noe more that day.

Mr. James Bigger came into Court and made his Submission and was Sorry
for the abuses he committed against Allexander Magruder upon which Submis-
sion he was discharged from the formar ordar of this Court.

William Groome Late of Prince Georges County inholder otherwise called
William Groome of Prince Georges County was Sumoned to answer unto James
Brooke of the Same place Gentleman of a plea that hee render unto him the
Full Sume of Nine hundred ninety Eight pounds of good Large bright and
Dry Leafe Tobacco and Caske to Conteine the Same which to him he oweth
and from him unjustly deteineth etc.
And whereupon the Said James by Joshua Cecell his Attorney Saith that the
Said William the twenty Ninth day of June in the year of our Lord 1697 att
Charles Towne within the Jurisdiction of this Court by his certaine bill
obligatory which the Said James with the Seal of the Said William Signed
bringeth here into Court the Date whereof is the Day and year afforesaid did
binde himselfe his heires Executors and administrators to pay or cause to be
Paid unto the Said James Brooke of the Same Place Gentleman the Full Sume
of Nine Hundred ninety Eight Pounds of good Large Bright and Dry Leafe
Tobacco and Caske to Conteine the Same to be Paid to the Said James Brookes
att or upon the tenth day of October next Ensueing the Date of the Said Bill
obligatory att some Convenient place in the Said County of Prince Georges
