Robert Tylor, Mr. John Hawkins, Mr. Robert Wade, Mr. Samuell Magruder,

Prince Georges County Ss.

By Vertue of a Summons from the Sheriffe of Prince Georges County to Lay
out and Resurvey Soe many Acres of Land as by Act of Assembly is Allowed for
a Court house and Church. Whereof I Should be by the Justices of the aforesaid
County Directed to Lay out in Charles Towne in the aforesaid County.

These are therefore humbly to Certifie that I Thomas Addison Depety
Surveyer of the aforesaid County Since by vertue of the order of the Justices
aforesaid Laid out as Followeth First two Acres of Land for the use of the
Church (Viz.) Beginning at a bound Redd Oake Standing in the towne afore-
said and Runing thence East by North Six degrees Northerly Nineteen Perches
to a post Appointed there to be Sett According to an Act of Assembly of this
province and thence Runing South and by west Six Degrees Westerly Nineteen
Perches to a post as aforesaid and thence Runing west and by South 6 degrees
Southerly Nineteen perches to a post as aforesaid And thence with a Streight
Line to the First bounded Redd Oake Containing and now Laid out for two
Acres of Land. By vertue of the aforesaid order and Directions I have alsoe
Laid out three Acres of Land for the Court house of the aforesaid County.

Beginning att the forth and Last poast of the aforesaid Church Land and
Runing thence west and by South Six Degrees Southerly twenty one perches
to a poast as aforesaid thence North and by East Six Degrees easterly twenty
one perches to a poast as aforesaid thence east by North Six Degrees Northerly
twenty one perches to a poast as aforesaid thence South by west Six Degrees
westerly three perches to the First bounded Redd Oake of the Church Land
aforesaid And thence with the Last Line of the Church Land to the First Poast
aforesaid Containing and now Laid out for three Acres of Land this third day
of November 1697. by me Thomas Addison Debputy Surveyor.
