Charles Tracey plantiff: Richard Edwards Defendant

It is Commanded the Sheriffe that of the goods Chatties and Creditts of the
Said Richard Edwards he Attach the Sume of fourteen hundred ninty three
pounds of tobaccoe for the Said Charles Tracey and that he make knowne unto
the Garnishee or Garnishees of the Said Richard Edwards that he or they be here
the next Court to be held here on the fourth Tuesday in August next to Shew Cause
if hee or they have any why the Same Should not be Condemned And the Said
Charles Tracey have thereof Execution etc.

[196] Att which day here Came the Said Charles Tracey by Cleborn Lomax his
Attorney and the Said Richard Edwards Came not etc.

And the Sheriffe now Returneth that hee by Vertue of the writt aforesaid hath
Attached on the Defendants plantation one Cow and yearling Appraised at one
thowsand lbs. of tobaccoe and one two year old Appraised at four hundred and
fifty pounds of tobaccoe by Thomas Willson and Benjamin Brasheere.

And upon this the Said Charles Tracey prayeth Condemnation and Execution
of the three head of Cattle Attached and Appraised as aforesaid etc.

Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the Said three head of Cattle
Attached and Appraised aforesaid be Condemned and that the Said Charles
Tracey have Execution for the Same etc. Joshua Cecell Security According to
Law etc.

Edward Willett against Richard Edwards

Command was given to the Sheriffe of Prince Georges County that of the goods
Chatties and Chatties of Richard Edwards if they Should be found in his baly-
wick he Attached to the Vallue of twelve hundred ninty and two pounds and
when he had the Same Attached or any part thereof the Same in his Custody to
keep Soe that hee have the Same before the Justices of the next Prince Georges
County Court to be held at Charles Towne the fourth Tuesday in August next
and Likewise at the time of Executeing the Said writt he gave notice to all person
or persons in whose hands or possesion he Attached Such goods aforesaid that
they be and Appeare before the Justices of our Said Court to be held at Charles
Towne aforesaid to Shew Cause if any they have why the Said goods Soe Attached
Should not be Condemned and Execution thereon had and made for the use of
the Said Edward Willett etc and that he had then and there the Said writt etc.

Att which Said day Came here the Sheriffe and made Returne of the Said writt
(Endorsed on the back) Attached on the plantation of Richard Edwards one
old Feather bed and one horse Vallued att fifteen hundred pounds of tobaccoe.

And the Said Richard Edwards Although Solemly Called Came not etc.

Whereupon the Said Edward Willett by William Stone his Attorney prayeth
Condemnation to the Vallue of twelve hundred ninty and two pounds of tobaccoe
out of the goods attached aforesaid and that the Said Edward Willett may have
Execution for the Same and by the Court here it is granted unto him etc. And
whereupon the Said Edward Willett together with Josias Towgood his Security
doe undertake for them and Either of them to make Restitution to the Said
Richard Edwards of the Said twelve hundred ninty and two pounds of tobaccoe
Soe as aforesaid Attached and Condemned if he the Said Richard Edwards
