MARCH, 1696/7 COURT 175

the back. (Viz.) Attached in the plantiffs hand one horse Vallewed at four
hundred lbs. of tobaccoe by Phillip Gittings and Charles Beall Appraisers.

per Thomas Greenfdld Sheriffe.

And whereupon the plantiffe by Cleborne Lomax his Attorny prayeth Con-
demnation of the Said Horse Appraised at four hundred pounds of tobaccoe
aforesaid and that Execution thereof may be had and made etc. And it is granted
unto him etc.

And hereupon the Said Charles Tracy together with Cleborn Lomax his
Securyty doe undertake for them and either of them to make Restitution to the
Said Daniell Troy if the Said four hundred pounds of tobaccoe Soe as aforesaid
Attached and Condemned if he the Said Daniell Troy Shall at any time within
one yeare and a day Come here and Appeare to the Originall writt against him
and make it Appeare that the Said Charles Tracy hath been and is Sattisfied
his Demand aforesaid or Shall otherwise in this Court discount or barr the Said
Charles Tracy of the Same or any part thereof etc.

Archable Edmonson Sumoned and Sworne for Josias Towood against William
Ludell.

Then did the Court Adjourne for halfe an hower and then Satt as followeth.
(Viz.)

Present. Mr. Thomas Hollyday, Mr. John Wighte, Mr. Robert Bradly, Mr.
Robert Tylor, Comisoners.

Truemans Administrator plantiffe: John Dunkin Defendant.

John Dunkin Came into open Court and Acknowledged himselfe Indebted
unto Thomas Taney and Jane his wife Administratrix of the goods and Chatties
of Henry Trueman the Sume of Eight hundred and twenty pounds of tobaccoe
and Desired that Judgment might bee Entred against him for the Same with
Cost etc.

Therefore it is Considered that the Said Thomas Taney and Jane his wife
Administratrix of the [157] Goods and Chatties of Henry Trueman Deceased
Recover against the Said John Dunkin as well the Sume of Eight hundred and
twenty pounds of tobaccoe the Debt aforesaid Confessed as alsoe the Sume of
Seaventy Six pounds of tobaccoe Cost by the Court here Adjudged etc.

William Willson and Isaack Williams Appeared here in Court to theire
Recognizance made the Last Court for theire good behavour and Appearance
this Court Whereupon publick proclamation was made by the Cryer of the Court
According to the usual forme and not any body Appeareing against them to
Shew Cause etc. the Said William Willson and Isaack Williams was by the Court
here discharged they paying their Fees etc.

These 18 Actions are Agreed: George Jones against Steven Onbee - trespass on
the Case; Steven Onbee against Isaack Meade - trespass on the Case; Ignatias
Wheeler against Jarvis Winser —Debt 2541; Richard Marsham against John
Creycroft - trespass on the Case; Archable Edmonson against Robert Gordon-
trespass on the Case; Christopher Baynes Executor [of] Christopher Baynes
against John Blankly — trespass on the Case; John Browne against Timoty Heines
- trespass on the Case; John Meriton against Cortny Crotoffe - Debt 400; Nicholas
