MARCH, 1696/7 COURT 163

Upon a Complaint of Vins Tylor that John Cozens keeps from her her freedom
Corne and Cloaths. Whereupon it is ordered that the Said Cozens be Summoned
to next Court to Answer etc.

Francis Marbery Desiers his marke may be Recorded (Viz.) and under keele
and an over keele on the Right Eare and a Cropp Slitt and under keele on the
Left Eare.

Francis Weeler desiers his marke may be Recorded (Viz.) a Cropp on the
Right Eare and an under keele on the Left Eare.

[145] Joseph Greere desiers his marke may bee Recorded (Viz.) a Cropp and
under bitt on the Right Eare and Cropp and two Slitts on the Left Eare.

November the 27th 1693.

Sir: Att tenn dayes after Sight pray pay to Mr. Richard Charlett or order this
my Sole bill of three pounds Seaven Shillings Sterling being for the heir of a
Flatt for two months and Seaven dayes att thirty Shillings per month for the
use of the Ship William your Servant.

To Mr. Peter Paggen and Company Robert Lurting.
Marchants in London.

The above is a true Coppy taken from the Originall and at the Request of Mr.
Thomas Greenfeild Administrator of the goods and Chatties of Richard Charlett
was ordered to be Entred upon Record for feare the Originall bill Should be Lost
in goeing to England.

March the 21th 1696/7

These presents Shall Oblidge me my heires Executors and Administrators to
make good unto the Orphants of Guy Finch the Quantity of four thowsand Sixty
and Eight pounds of tobaccoe Col. Henry Darnall haveing Allowed me Soe much
for their use upon the purchase of a parcell of Land Lately Sould me by him and
I doe hereby Engage to goe into the County Court and Acknowledge the Same.

Henry Culver Came into Court and Acknowledged the above writeing Where-
upon it was ordered by the Court here to be Recorded.

Prince Georges County Ss. Aprill the 27th 1697.

Then Mett at Charles Towne att the house of Mr. Jonathan Willsons Mr.
Cornelius Watkinson. Complainant and Richard Marsham Defendant with
Severall Wittneses to be Examined upon Interrogatories to be proposed by Either
of the Said parties before Col. Thomas Hollyday and Mr. Robert Tylor Justices
of Prince Georges County thereunt[o] Appointed to take the Same as by a writt
out of the high Court of Chancery Dated the 27th day of Febuary Annoque
Domini 1696/7.

And the Said Richard Marsham and Cornelius Watkinson upon Some Com-
munication between them had have boath of them Condesended to put the whole
matter in Controversie betwen them Depending in the high Court of Chancery to
