James Knowles plantiffe: Richard Addis Defendant.

The plantiffe by Cleborn Lomax his Attorney Sues the Defendant for the
full and Just Sume of Six hundred pounds of good Sound Merchantable tobaccoe
and Caske which to him hee oweth and unjustly Deteyneth etc. due by bill as
by Decleration and bill filed Appeareth etc. The Defendant in his proper per-
son Comes into Court and Sais that he Cannot gainsay but that the Debt afore-
said is due to the plantiffe in manner and forme as he hath declared against him
and desiers that there may be Judgment Entred against him for the Same etc.

Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the Said James Knowles
Recover against the Said Richard Addis as well the Sume of Six hundred pounds
of tobacc[o]e the debt due by bill as aforesaid as alsoe the Sume of two hundred
Seaventy five pounds of tobaccoe to the Said James Knowles of his Assent for his
Cost and Charges in this behalfe Laid out and Expended etc. by the Court
here Adjudged etc. and the Said Richard Addis in mercy etc.

Charles Tracey plantiffe: Richard Addis Defendant.

The plantiffe by Cleborne Lomax his Attorney Sues the Defendant for Eight
hundred and four pounds of good Sound Marchantable Leafe tobaccoe in Caske
which to him he oweth and unjustly Deteyneth etc. due by bill as by decleration
and bill filed Appeareth etc. The defendant in his proper person Comes into
Court and Sais that he Cannot gainsay but that the debt aforesaid is due to the
plantiffe in manner and forme as the plantiffe hath declared against him and
desiers that Judgment may by Entred against him for the Same.

Therefore it is Considered by the Court here that the Said Charles Tracey
Recover against the Said Richard Addis as well the Sume of Eight hundred and
four pounds of tobaccoe due by bill as aforesaid as alsoe the Sume of two
hundred Seaventy five pounds of tobaccoe to the Said Charles Tracey of his
Assent for his Costs and Charges in this behalfe Laid out and Expended etc.
by the Court here Adjudged etc. And the Said Richard Addis in mercy etc.
