JOINT RESOLUTIONS.

Preamble.

WHEREAS, It is further represented that the State of

 

Maryland is the only bona fide stockholder of said

 

Southern Maryland Railroad Campany; and

WHEREAS, It is important to the people of this State,

 

and more especially to the people of Prince

 

George's, Charles and St. Mary's counties, through

 

which, counties said railroad passes, that said rail-

 

road should be constructed, and to that end that

 

the State should forthwith exercise its rights as

 

the only bona fide stockholder of the same; there-

 

fore,

 

Be it resolved by the Senate and House of Delegates :

 

1. That a committee, consisting of three on the
