LAWS OF MARYLAND.

 

is "The Committee of the Presbyterian Church in
Snow Hill, Worcester county, Maryland; therefore,

Sanctioning
bequest.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That the sanction of the General Assem-
bly of Maryland, be and the same is hereby given
and declared to the above mentioned bequests by the
said John Gunby, deceased, and that the said Com-
mittee of the Presbyterian Church in Snow Hill, in
Worcester county, is hereby authorized to receive
the said sums and securities, named in said bequests,
and to execute a valid receipt and release therefor,
to the executors of said will; provided, that nothing
herein. contained shall be construed to impair, in any
manner, the rights of any person or persons who
claim or may claim that said bequests, or either of
them, are invalid in law, or do not pass to said
church under a proper construction of said last will
and codicil.

In force.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 45.

 

AN ACT to permit the shooting of wild-fowl from
sink boxes in the waters of Talbot county.

Permitting
the shooting
or wild-fowl.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That on and after the passage of this act,
it shall be lawful for the bonafide citizens of Talbot
county to shoot wild-fowl from sink boxes in the
waters of said county, on Monday, Wednesday and
Friday, in each week, under such restrictions as are
hereinafter provided.

Privileges.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That the use of sink
boxes as provided in this act, is strictly forbidden in
the waters herein particularly described, unless said
waters shall be at least three hundred yards wide.
