Laws, section nine, title corporations, to read as

follows :

SEC. 9. SUB-SEC. 1. Any municipal corporation,
|
|

in this State, against which there is a judgment in
|
|

any court of law in this State, shall have power to

levy a sum of money upon the assessable property of

such municipality sufficient to pay such judgments.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

AN ACT for the relief of the sureties on the official

bond of Edwin W. Duvall, formerly Sheriff of

Anne Arundel county.

WHEREAS, at the April term, eighteen hundred and
|
|
 
|
seventy, of the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel
|
|

county, certain recognizances of Elizabeth Brown

and Catharine Weaver, charged with larceny, was

|

forfeited by said court; and

WHEREAS, said sureties are liable for other and
