AN ACT to appropriate a sum of money to pay

Jethro McCauley, late collector of State taxes, in

the third district of Cecil county, the amount over-
|
 
|
paid by him into the treasury.
|
 
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
|
 
|
Maryland, That the Comptroller of this State be and
|
 
|
he is hereby authorized and directed to issue his
|

in favor of.

warrant upon the Treasurer of this State, to pay to
|
 
|
Jethro McCauley, of Cecil county, the sum of forty-
|
 
|
two dollars and ninety-two cents, being the amount
|
 
|
overpaid by said Jethro McCauley into the treasury
|
 
|
as collector of State taxes for the third district of
|
 
|
Cecil county, for the year eighteen hundred and six-
|
 
|
ty-seven, as certified to by the Comptroller of the
|
 
|
State.

|
SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

effect from the date of its passage.
