CHAPTER 317.

 

AN ACT to empower the Surviving Trustees of

 

Meeting House of the Associated Methodist

 

Church in Centreville, or a majority of them, to

 

convey a certain lot of ground in said town, unto

 

the Trustees of the Methodist Protestant Church

 

at Centreville, in Queen Anne's county, in the

 

State of Maryland.

 

WHEREAS, D. C. H. Emory, did in the year of our

 

Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty, convey

 

by deed to John D. Emory, Thomas Aschom, Phile-

Preamble.

mon B. Hopper, James K. Harper, William Reed,

 

John McFeeley, William Harper, Jr., Patrick Hor-

 

gon and Henry Stary, Trustees of the Meeting House

 

of the Associated Methodist Church in Centreville,

 

and their successors, in trust to and for the use of

 

the Members of the Associated Methodist Church

 

in Queen Anne's county, a lot of ground in said

 

town, which said deed was duly recorded among

 

the Land Records of Queen Anne's county, and the

 

property therein described, taken and held by said

 

trustees and their successors to the present time ;

 

and

 

WHEREAS, said Associated Methodist Church in

 

Centreville, w;as the only such Associated Methodist

 

Church ever in said county of Queen Anne's, and in

Preamble.
