Repealed and
re-enacted.

"Allegany county," be and the same is hereby re-

 

pealed and re-enacted so as to read as follows :

 

SEC. 98. Nothing in the last preceding section shall

the peace appointed and qualified for any one of the

 

above-named election districts.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take

 

effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 271.

 

AN ACT to prevent the sale of Spirituous or Fer-

 

mented Liquors within a distance of two and

 

a-half miles from the Fair Grounds of the Kent

 

County Agricultural Society, on the days of the

 

Annual Exhibition of said Society, and to give

 

said Society full force to appoint a Special Police

 

during said exhibition.

Not be lawful.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of

 

Maryland, That it shall not be lawful for any person,

 

firm, or body politic, to barter or sell any spirituous

 

or fermented liquors, lager-beer or cider, on the
