and private fish ponds excepted; provided, that
nothing in this section shall apply to the waters of
Gunpowder River, Bush River and Swann Creek
and their tributaries.

Proviso.
|
SECTION 41 B. Any one violating the provisions
of the preceding section, shall, upon conviction be-
fore a justice of the peace of said county, be liable
to a fine of not less than two dollars and fifty cents,
nor more than five dollars for each offence, and upon
failing to pay said fine and the cost of prosecution,
shall be sentenced to imprisonment in the county jail,
for a period not exceeding seven days; said fine to
be paid to the county commissioners for the use of
the county.

SECTION 41 C. And be it enacted, That this act shall
continue in force for two years from the date of its
passage.

AN ACT to repeal section one, of article thirty-
eight of the Code of Public General Laws, title
" Officers Fees, " and to re-enact the same so far
as it relates to Dorchester, Caroline, Kent, Talbot,
Prince George's, Queen Anne's, Charles, Harford
counties.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That all accounts for officers fees shall
be made out in a fair and clear manner, and in
words at length, and whenever any person interested
in them, or to whom the same be charged, shall re-
quire a copy of such account, the several officers
herein named, shall in as short a time as may be
convenient, give him an account of said charges in
words at length, and no account for officers fees by
any of the several officers herein named, rendered
