CHAPTER 197.

AN ACT to refund taxes on Oyster House Licenses
to Hugh B. Vallient, F. F. Avalier, Jesse H. T.
Hubbard, Samuel Norris, Tilghman H. Hubbard,
William Grace, Michael Hartnett, Mrs. Margaret
Zeigler and T. T. Martin, of Talbot county, erro-
neously paid to the State.

Directed to
pay.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of
Maryland, That on the warrant of the Comptroller,
the Treasurer is hereby directed to pay to Hugh B.
Vallient, F. F. Avalier, Jesse H. T. Hubbard, Samuel
Norris, Tilghman H. Hubbard, Wm. Grace, Michael
Hartnett, Mrs. Margaret Zeigler and T. T. Martin,
of Talbot county, each the sum of thirty-nine dollars
and fifty-eight cents for taxes on Oyster House Li-
censes, and to Jacob Williams the sum of seventy-
three dollars and ninety-six cents, for taxes on Oyster
House Licenses, and to Charles W. Bennett, of said
county, the sum of sixty-seven dollars and fifty cents
for taxes on ordinary license; and to William T.
Elliott, Edmund W. Norris, Henry Nichols, Owen
A. Boon, Joseph Rasin, John B. Todd and Son,
James E. Cahal, James T. Robinson, J. V. B. Wright,
J. R. Colescott, Levi Howeth, Mary Fountain, E. C.
Godwin, S. P. Jump, T. L. Hopkins and Dennis L.
Council, of said county, each the sum of thirteen dol-
lars and fifty cents, for Retail Liquor Traders' Li-
censes; and to William B. Ewing, C. M. Lloyd,
Daniel C. Barnett and Philemon Mullikin, of said
county, each the sum of eighteen dollars and seventy-
five cents for ordinary licenses erroneously paid to
the State.

In force.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.
