CHAPTER 186.
AN ACT to amend the charter of the Consolidated Copper Company of Baltimore city by empowering said corporation to hold and dispose of lands suited to the purposes of its incorporation.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the Consolidated Copper Company of Baltimore city be, and the same is hereby authorized and empowered to acquire by purchase or in any other manner, and to hold, use, manage, employ and in any manner not inconsistent with law dispose of any lands situated in or out of this State, which may be necessary or suitable to enable said corporation to carry on the operations of mining, dressing, smelting and otherwise treating copper ores and the disposition of the same or the products thereof;

provided the said corporation shall not hold more than five hundred acres of land situated in this State at any one time.
|
Proviso.
|

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from the date of its passage, and the Legislature reserves to itself the right to alter, amend or repeal this act at pleasure. t
