CHAPTER 178.

AN ACT to amend section one hundred and thirty-five of article twelve of the Code of Public Local Laws, title " Harford County, " sub-title " Sheriff, " as amended and re-enacted by chapter twenty-four, of the acts passed at January session eighteen hundred and seventy-four, and re-enact the same with amendments.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That section one hundred and thirty-five of article twelve of the Code of Public Local Laws, title " Harford county, " sub-title " Sheriff, " as amended by chapter twenty-four, of the acts passed at January session, eighteen hundred and seventy-four, be repealed, amended and re-enacted so as to read as follows:

Repealed and re-enacted.

SEC. 135. He shall be entitled to receive forty-five cents per day, for boarding each prisoner confined in said jail.

Be entitled.

SEC. 2. And be it enacted, That this act shall take effect from the date of its passage.

Approved March 27, 1876.

AN ACT to repeal section fifty-five to sixty-four inclusive, of the Public Local Laws of Baltimore county, entitled "Collector, " and section seventy-eight to ninety inclusive, entitled "Treasurer, " and enact the following, entitled " Treasurer and Collector, " in lieu thereof:
